The Embedded Sign-Up step is crucial for connecting your Facebook Business Manager (FBM) and WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). Here is a detailed step-by-step guide to help you through the process.
Steps to Perform Embedded Sign-Up :
1. Login to Your Account
Use your email and password to log in to the portal.
Example credentials:
Email: [[email protected]]
Password: [your_password]
Once logged in, proceed through the initial steps until you reach the Embedded Sign-Up process in the 4th step.
2. Initiate Embedded Sign-Up
On the 4th step, locate and press the Embedded Sign-Up button.
A Meta pop-up window will appear to guide you through the Embedded Sign-Up process.
3. Open the “Business Portfolio” Dropdown Menu
If you already have a META Business:
Select your existing META business from the dropdown menu.
The business data will be automatically populated.
If you don’t have a META Business yet:
Choose the option to Create a Business Portfolio.
Fill in the required business details (e.g., business name, address, legal info).
Complete the form and proceed to the next step.
4. Select or Create a WhatsApp Business Account and Profile
From the dropdown menus, choose whether to select an existing WhatsApp Business Account and Profile or create new ones.
If you don’t have a WhatsApp Business Account or Profile:
Select the Create option from the dropdown.
Follow the instructions to create a new WhatsApp Business Profile (this includes entering business details like display name, business category, etc.).
If you already have a WhatsApp Business Profile:
The system will automatically skip this step and use your existing profile.
5. Enter the WhatsApp Number
You will be prompted to enter the WhatsApp number for your business.
Important: Ensure the number is not yet connected to any WhatsApp account. If you try to use a number that is already linked to a WhatsApp account:
A link will appear to a Facebook website with instructions on how to disconnect the previous account.
However, this is not recommended as it involves deleting the old account, which may cause disruption to any active business communications.
6. Verify the WhatsApp Number
Once the number is entered, you will need to verify it.
Choose between receiving a verification code via text message or a phone call.
Enter the verification code in the provided field.
7. Grant Access Permissions
After the WhatsApp number is verified, a screen will appear showing the permissions and access required by Blend to help operate your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).
Review the requested permissions, then press the Continue button to grant access.
8. Process Complete!
Congratulations! You have successfully completed the Embedded Sign-Up process.
Your WhatsApp Business Account is now linked with your Facebook Business Manager and ready for use.
