Personalization

5. Personalization

Step 1: Personalize Template Content

  • Customize the message with dynamic elements using attributes set in the Profile Properties menu. Attributes may include:

    • {firstName}

    • {lastName}

    • {discountAmount}, etc.

Personalization Options:

  1. Value-Based Personalization

    • The value inserted corresponds to user data defined in their profile properties.

    • Example: For the attribute {firstName}, if the user’s name is "John," the message will display "John."

  2. Default or Fallback Values

    • If a user attribute is missing, you can set a default value to avoid gaps.

    • Example: For {firstName}:

      • If the attribute exists: "Hi, John!"

      • If the attribute is missing: "Hi, there!" (default value: "there").

    • You can either choose to set a default or leave it blank to rely on a system-wide default value.

  3. Dynamic Elements

    • Images: Add relevant visuals tailored to the audience.

    • Videos: Embed videos for added engagement.

    • Documents: Attach files such as brochures or guides.

    • Location: Include addresses if necessary.

    • Dynamic Buttons: Add call-to-action buttons (e.g., "Visit Our Website," "Copy Code").

Step 2: Preview Personalization

  • Review the personalized content to ensure the values and fallback settings are applied correctly.

Summary and Test Send

6. Summary and Test Send

Step 1: Review Campaign Summary

  • Verify all campaign details, including:

    • Campaign name

    • Audience

    • Template

    • Personalization

Step 2: Send Test Message

  • Send a test message to check if all elements (personalization, media, buttons) function as intended.

  • Make necessary adjustments based on test results.

Step 3: Schedule or Send Now

  • Choose one of the following:

    • Send Immediately: Deliver the campaign right away.

    • Schedule: Set a specific time for delivery.

  • Confirm your choice to finalize the campaign.

By following these steps, you can create and launch a WhatsApp message campaign that is personalized, targeted, and timely.
