The Message Logs Page provides a detailed record of all WhatsApp messages sent through your platform. It allows you to track, analyze, and manage message activity effectively. Follow this guide to understand and utilize the page’s features.


1. Overview of the Message Logs Table

The table displays a comprehensive log of messages with the following columns:

  • Message ID: A unique identifier for each message.

  • Sender Phone Number: The phone number that sent the message.

  • Recipient Phone Number: The phone number of the message recipient.

  • Status: Indicates the current state of the message:

    • Delivered: Successfully delivered to the recipient.

    • Sent: Sent but not yet delivered.

    • Read: Opened and read by the recipient.

    • Failed: Sending attempt was unsuccessful.

  • Template Name: The name of the message template used.

  • Created At: The timestamp of when the message was created.


2. Table Features

a. Reload Button

  • Located at the top of the table.

  • Refreshes the data to display the most up-to-date logs.

b. Date Range Filter

  • Select a specific time period to view logs for a particular date range.

  • Helps narrow down records for precise analysis.

c. Search Logs

  • Use the search bar to find specific logs based on keywords such as message IDs, phone numbers, or template names.

d. Download Logs

  • Click the Download button to export the message logs data as a file.

  • Useful for offline analysis or sharing reports.


3. Viewing Detailed Message Logs

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. In the table, locate the message log you want to examine.

  2. Click on the Message ID of the desired log.

  3. A pop-up window will appear, displaying additional details, such as:

    • Error Message: Explains why a message failed (if applicable).

    • WABA ID: The associated WhatsApp Business Account ID.

    • Workspace ID: The ID of the workspace where the message originated.

    • Sent At: The timestamp of when the message was sent.

    • Delivered At: The timestamp of when the message was delivered.

    • Other relevant information.

  • Filter and Search: Use the date range filter and search bar to quickly find specific logs or identify trends in message delivery.
